Neera Boodoo Thompson is a Financial / Insurance Advisor with Lawe Insurance Brokers, based in the Montego Bay office. She joined the team in June 2026, bringing an analytical perspective and a genuine interest in helping people strengthen their financial security.

Before entering financial advising, Neera spent four years as a Workforce Management Reporting Analyst in the business process outsourcing sector, following earlier experience as a Customer Service Representative. Her reporting background shaped her belief in letting the data speak for itself, while her customer-service experience reinforced the importance of listening and understanding each person’s needs.

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Neera has made St. James, Jamaica her home after relocating to the island more than 13 years ago. She completed studies in Customer Experience and a CAPE Advanced Diploma in Sciences at Lakshmi Girls’ College, and is currently pursuing Entrepreneurship and Business Digitization through the Jamaica Business Development Corporation.

Neera believes insurance can help protect individuals, families and businesses while supporting long-term stability and generational wealth. She is committed to helping people better understand insurance planning and to exploring insurance and investment strategies that can support their future goals and aspirations. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, reading novels and learning new things.
