Cosmo Walker entered the Life Insurance business in 1974 at Life of Jamaica Limited as an agent at the age of 25 years. In the same year, he qualified for provisional membership in the Million Dollar Round Table and later became a Life and Qualifying Member. He then went on to serve in managerial, executive and leadership positions in the JAIFA, addressed several International Associations, a Justice of the Peace, member of Committee of Victim Support, Lay Magistrate, mentor to the Andrew's Memorial Church Men's Ministry, Senior Board member of the Royal Decameron Club Caribbean Hotel and a director and deputy chairman on the Board of the Insurance Employees Cooperative Credit Union. 

He is an ardent supporter of all JAIFA's activities and for numerous years continues to serve as a Moderator for the Life Underwriters Training Course Fellow and Financial Services Certified Professional. He is currently employed at Lawe Insurance Brokers since November 2011 where he serves as Training and Development Officer.
