Carlton A. Gordon, BA, CLU, is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a 45-year veteran Advisor in Insurance/Financial and Retirement Planning, and Past President of the Jamaica Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (JAIFA). Well known for "excellent Customer Service", he is also much sought after for his Travel Insurance expertise, and for his professional moderating and mentoring skills.
A Calabar High School Past Student, Carlton also earned a 1966 Journalism Diploma from the University of Westminster (formerly Regent Street Polytechnic Institute, London,) and a 2005 Bachelor of Arts Degree, in General Studies/Guidance & Counseling, from The Jamaica Theological Seminary.
He has been married to "Rosie" for nearly 57 years. They have four adult sons and nine grandchildren. He is among the "select few" winners of the coveted "R. Danny Williams Trophy", for most insurance policies sold in a year, at Life of Jamaica/Sagicor. He is also a "life-long learner" who identifies himself as a "Son of Yahweh" and as a "working Pensioner" who is "not retiring" but "refiring" by the grace of Yahweh. His active life-long hobbies include Travelling, Athletics, Cricket, Table Tennis, and writing. He is the third member and Founding Secretary of the Insurance Employees Co-operative Credit Union (IECCU) and a member of the "Fraternity of Eyeball Penetrators"-- an exclusive" band of Aviators who have flown through the eye of a hurricane." (Hurricane Flora, 1963).
