Profile

Barbara Tapper joined Lawe Insurance Agency in November 2001, among its very first set of employees when Patrick Lawe established the Agency for Lloyd’s International Health Insurance. She had just retired from the banking industry, having spent over 30 years with a number of the major banks within that sector. Throughout that 30 year tenure, Barbara moved through several administrative positions before attaining Senior Management and gained expertise in a range of financial activities such as Trust & Estate Management, Investment Placement and Analysis, Loans Analysis, and Credit Management. She was attracted to the Insurance Agency as a fitting complementary area to her financial expertise, and throughout her tenure with LIB has successfully attracted to the Lloyd’s product line mid to high-end clientele comprising business owners, chief executives, and senior management personnel.
