Geena Munroe received her Bachelors of Science in Communication, with a concentration in Advertising from Boston University in 2019. While studying at college, she maintained an internship at the Boston University School of Business, where she was the marketing intern for the Career Services Department. During the summers of 2015 - 2019, she interned at OGM Integrated, an advertising company in Jamaica, working on campaigns for National Commercial Bank, Jamaica Public Service Co. Ltd., Jamaica Broilers, Kremi Ice Cream, Hamilton Smokehouse, among several other companies. After graduating, Geena moved home from Boston, to work in her family’s honey business, Blackbirds Farms Limited, “Ma’Honey”. She worked there for one year. During her time there, she created a social media presence and introduced an online ordering system. In January 2021, Geena Munroe successfully completed her Equity and OLT examinations and joined the Lawe Insurance team on pre-contract. She is excited about her career as an Insurance Professional. Geena is proficient in Spanish and is a past member of the Toastmasters Club. She enjoys researching and socializing.
